Located on a historical site adjacent to a CN rail line, this project presented significant challenges in both building design and orientation. With unique access points and surrounding low-rise residential properties, a sensitive approach was required to address neighbourhood concerns. The resulting design features a terraced six-storey structure that incorporates robust stone and masonry materials throughout. A mansard roof helps reduce the perceived scale of the building, while massing and sightlines are carefully oriented away from nearby homes wherever possible.
